2009

The Chevals competed at the Showtime International Texas Championship on Saturday and had a very successful day.  They received both a Sweepstakes and Judges Award (which means they scored a 92 or higher from every judge on every routine they performed).  They received a Best in Class for their lyrical and jazz routines and 2nd place on their pom routine.  They won 2nd place in their Division.  Congratulations Chevals.

In addition to the team success the Cheval Officers won 1st Place for their Duet “Coffee Break” and all our soloist received a first division medal.

Congratulations to soloists: Zoie Anderson, Kristin Denson, Taylor Gilliam, Caitie Gross, Brooke James, Allison Petty, and Margaret Stewart

Finally, Amy Gulliksen was one of four finalist in the “KickMaster” Competition on Saturday.  There were about twenty five students signed up on Saturday and Amy made it through two rounds of eliminations and was one of the final four.
